Dates and times for 2013 are yet to be set. A series of cultural classes of 75 minutes each will be organized covering various topics of general interest. Are these lessons suitable for me? They are addressed to students who are attending an Italian course (any level) or people who are just simply interested in knowing more about Italian culture. Discussions will be carried on in English, but you are of course invited to come and practice your speaking skills too. We'll have a chat together about different areas of Italy, their history, culture and most representative aspects, from typical products to not-to-miss popular and traditional festivals. Doing this, we'll outline an hypotetical itinerary across Italy, trying to touch not only its most famous cities but also small places not so wellknown but that can be described as "little gems" of Italian territory. Each lesson will be composed by: - introduction of the the topic of the day; - screening of a short scene of a documentary or movie; - reading of an abstract of a magazine article together; - free discussion and space to share your personal experience! What will I learn? Cultural lessons aim to provide a deeper understanding of Italian culture. |
